Get to Know your VA, Trina

From PA Roots to a Life Abroad

Erie, PA raised me on unreal sunsets, Lake Erie views, and long days on the soccer field or basketball court—playing and coaching. I also spend lots of time in Pittsburgh (family + inherited Steelers fandom included).

Twelve years in Northern Virginia with my high school sweetheart-turned-husband, and now life abroad in Europe taught me one thing: plan the details, protect your time, and never stop hyping the sunsets.

Self-Proclaimed Travel Aficionado

I love exploring the world and making the plans that get us there. Travel planning is my creative happy place — if there’s an itinerary to build, I’m in my element.

Collectively, my husband and I have planned trips to 19 countries (and counting) — building itineraries, finding great food, finding artsy photo ops, and navigating the trains are some of my favorite things to do.

Heart + Order

I’m an Enneagram 1w2 — which means I care about doing things well, but I care about people even more. I actually enjoy organizing the details and supporting moving parts behind the scenes.

I feel strongly that organization simplifies and makes for a calmer way of living. Whether its making lesson plans, organizing the kitchen, or cleaning, you can count on me to make the plan clearer, the process easier, and the day a little lighter.

What Fills My Cup

Coffee shops for inspiration, golfing (even though I’m still working on my swing), watching sports like it’s my side hustle, and soaking up time with family and friends. If there’s a trail to hike or a new city to explore, I’m in.

Give me good company, good views, and I will usually devise a plan to pull it all together — that’s the sweet spot.

Teacher turned Virtual Assistant

I spent 12+ years teaching middle school Health & Physical Education in Maryland — mastering lesson plans, schedules, teamwork, and organized chaos. When I knew it was time for a positive change, I followed the pull toward supporting others in a new way. The work is still the same — thoughtful planning, structure, and cheering people on — it just looks a little different now. Same heart, new chapter.
